The Brief

Beaini Group was engaged to deliver a multi-stage fit-out of a new industrial warehouse in Western Sydney, working to a tight handover date on a site that would see materials, racking and machinery move through several distinct phases over almost two months. The team needed equipment that could keep pace with a changing floor plan without the delays that come from re-hiring machinery mid-project, and a supplier willing to adjust the hire scope as the job evolved rather than locking the site into a fixed configuration from day one.

The Work

Tomlex supplied a rough-terrain telehandler alongside a counterbalance forklift for the full duration of the fit-out, rotating equipment as the project moved from bulk material delivery through to final racking installation. Our team worked directly with the Beaini Group site supervisor to adjust the hire configuration as the floor plan changed, swapping attachments and confirming ground conditions before each new phase began. All equipment was inspected and serviced on-site partway through the hire to keep downtime at zero across the full six-week program, and a second machine was made available on short notice when an unexpected delivery schedule change doubled up material movement for one week.

The Result

The warehouse fit-out was completed on schedule, with equipment availability never once holding up the trades on site. Beaini Group has since engaged Tomlex again for follow-on projects, citing the flexibility to adjust hire scope mid-project as the deciding factor over their previous supplier.
